The Veterinary Technology Association is a club designed to create a community for Veterinary Technology Students to build valuable connections through the provision of social events and learning opportunities throughout all stages of study. The VTA was originally established in 2015 when the Bachelor of Veterinary Technology Course was first introduced to Charles Sturt. After the COVID pandemic, the VTA was re-established in 2024 and the club is looking forward to what the future brings! 

The Bachelor of Veterinary Technology provides both an integrated (no certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing qualification) and articulated (has certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing) pathway for both internal and distance students. The VTA aims to provide these communities a chance to collaborate and build connections amongst fellow Vet-Techs, academics and mates! The VTA hopes to inspire future Vet-Techs to work towards a rewarding and diverse career!
